FANTASTIC show, as always!
A fantastic time can be had at Madonna's concert if you accept that she will always come on stage very late. We showed up around 9:30 to get a drink, check out the (very expensive!) merch, and find our seats; yes, she didn't come on stage until 11:00 PM, when the tickets read 8:00 PM.
For those two hours, I was definitely in my happy place when Madonna finally came on stage. The enthusiasm of the crowd and Madonna giving it her all on stage made me feel young again, filled with happiness and empowerment.
Every number was a show from the costumes to the choreography to her powerful, beautiful voice belting out the lyrics. She did a lot of songs from Rebel Heart during this tour, sprinkled with a few of her popular hits from "back in the day." It was just as energetic and exciting when she was backstage changing costumes and taking a break; her dancers performed while a recorded Madonna song was played, not leaving people stuck waiting for her to come back on stage. The show left me with a high.
She had a long runway that jutted out into the audience, almost to the other side of the arena, giving everyone a great view of her and the show. The stage set-up was great, too.
